The sun rises at Pole around September 20, but the twilight starts in mid August. I have mixed feelings about the return of the sun. I have enjoyed the night sky, and do not like that sunrise means winter is soon ending. At the same time part of me looks forward to seeing the sun again after many months without it. No matter what feelings you have about it, sunrise at Pole provides about six beautiful and amazing weeks.
